Water cut in parts of Haram until Saturday morning for pipe works
Giza's water company has cut supply on Al Orouba and Al Ekhlas streets while it replaces mains alongside the Al Ekhlas axis works. Free water tankers are available on 125.
9OctoberHaram, GizaThe Giza Drinking Water and Sanitation Company cut water supply to parts of Haram from midnight at the start of Friday 9 October. The cut covers Al Orouba Street and Al Ekhlas Street, from Othman Moharram Street to the Amr Ibn Al Aas axis.
The company is replacing 150 mm and 400 mm water mains alongside the development works on the Al Ekhlas axis. Supply is due back by Saturday morning, 10 October, or when the work is finished.
Residents can ask for free clean water tankers by calling the hotline 125. The company asked bakeries and hospitals in the area to arrange their own water for the duration.
