State employees' October salaries to be paid from 22 October

October salaries for state employees will start to be paid on 22 October, according to the Finance Ministry's payment schedule as reported by El Watan. Five days are set aside for the salary run.

Arrears are handled separately. The schedule gives 7, 11 and 12 October for this month, so two of those days are still to come.

Salaries can be collected from ATMs with government payroll cards, from banks that take part in the payroll system (the report names the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and Banque du Caire), from Egypt Post offices and from approved e-payment outlets.

The same schedule sets 24 November and 24 December for the next two salary runs, with arrears on 8, 9 and 10 of each month. The minimum monthly pay for the sixth grade remains 8,000 pounds.
