Cairo can expect a warm afternoon of 28 degrees and a cool night of 19, with morning fog on some roads and a small chance of light rain.
Egypt's Meteorological Authority expects mild autumn weather in Greater Cairo on Saturday 17 October, warm by day and cool at night and early in the morning. The high in Cairo is 28 degrees and the low 19, Youm7 reported from the authority's forecast.
Water fog is expected between 4am and 8am on some roads leading to the north, around Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, the Canal cities and central Sinai. Light to moderate rain is likely on the northern coast and in northern Delta governorates, and the chance of light rain reaching parts of Greater Cairo now and then is put at about 10 percent.
If you are driving early, leave a little more time and keep your distance until the fog lifts after 8am. A light jacket is enough for the evening, and an umbrella is only worth carrying if you are heading north towards Alexandria or the Delta.
