Friday weather: cooler, windy, a chance of light rain in Cairo, high of 27
The Meteorological Authority expects clouds, winds of 30 to 40 km/h and a 30 to 40% chance of light rain over parts of Greater Cairo on Friday, with a high of 27 and a low of 20.
Friday 16 October brings autumn weather with more low and medium cloud, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority's forecast reported by Youm7. Light to moderate rain is expected in scattered parts of southern Lower Egypt and the Canal cities, and it may reach parts of Greater Cairo, with a 30 to 40% chance.
Cairo's high is 27 degrees and the low 20. Winds of 30 to 40 km/h at times will make it feel cooler. On the north coast rain can be moderate to heavy at times, and sailing may be disrupted off Matrouh, El Alamein, Alexandria, Baltim, Gamasa, Damietta and Port Said, with waves of 2 to 3 metres.
If you are heading out tonight, take a light jacket for the evening and something for the rain if you are going to an open-air event. The Authority issued no formal warning for Cairo.
