Railways add extra Cairo, Alexandria and Hammam trains from Saturday

Egyptian National Railways will run extra third-class trains between Cairo, Alexandria and Hammam on 10, 11 and 24 October.

Egyptian National Railways has announced extra trains on the Cairo, Alexandria and Hammam line this month, saying the added trips are meant to make travel easier for passengers. All of them are third class with dynamic ventilation, and each runs on one date only.

The first is train 1940 on Saturday 10 October, leaving Cairo at 05:50 and reaching Alexandria at 08:40. On Sunday 11 October, train 1941/1942 leaves Hammam at 16:45 and arrives in Cairo at 20:55.

On Saturday 24 October there are four more. Two run from Cairo to Hammam: train 1943/1944 at 03:45, arriving 08:10, and train 1945/1946 at 05:50, arriving 10:15. Two return from Alexandria to Cairo: train 1948 at 16:50, arriving 19:35, and train 1950 at 18:05, arriving 20:55.

Passengers should check times at the station or through the railway's own channels before travelling.
