Bisqo, a dessert café built almost entirely around tiramisu, has opened in New Cairo. The new branch is at Ze1 Mall, SceneEats reported on 26 October, and it is the brand's first in Egypt.

The brand is young. It opened in Dubai in 2025 and calls itself the first tiramisu specialist in the Gulf, according to its own website. It belongs to Another Round, a UAE hospitality company that runs more than eight food concepts there, and Bisqo was the first of them to open outside the Emirates, with a branch in Hicksville, on Long Island in New York, this year. Cairo is now its third city.

The idea is a simple one: take one Italian dessert and build a whole café around it. In Dubai its best known item is the Misu Cup, layers of sponge, espresso and whipped mascarpone served in a cup, and the brand also sells tiramisu soft serve and tiramisu-flavoured frappes. In New Cairo, SceneEats says, the tiramisu cups are the main event, with a matcha tiramisu for those who prefer green tea to coffee.

Bisqo is also trying to be more than an after-dinner stop. The New Cairo menu adds breakfast items such as egg muffins, along with a range of coffee and other café drinks, so it can work for a morning coffee or a quick bite between errands in the mall.

It joins a run of food brands from the Gulf and abroad that have chosen New Cairo for their first or second Egyptian branch this autumn, as the district's malls and dining strips keep adding new names.

Bisqo is open now at Ze1 Mall in New Cairo. The brand has not yet published prices, opening hours or delivery details for the Cairo branch, so check its Instagram before you make a special trip, and expect the tiramisu cups and the matcha version to be the first things on the counter.
