Ali El Haggar, one of Egypt's best-loved voices, gives a concert at El Sawy Culturewheel in Zamalek on Wednesday 28 October at 8:30pm, in the venue's River Hall, according to the Sawy's October programme.
Tickets start at EGP 400 and are sold through the Sawy's own website. The venue's concert rules apply: children aged six and over need a full ticket.
El Sawy Culturewheel is at the end of 26th of July Street in Zamalek. Book ahead, arrive early to find parking on the island, and keep the booking on your phone. The same week the Sawy also hosts Cassette 90s and Gaby Bishara's Fairouz and Sinatra night, both on 29 October.
