XPENG has launched the GX, its flagship six-seat SUV, in Egypt through its exclusive distributor Raya Auto, part of Raya Holding. It comes in one trim at EGP 3,750,000, or EGP 3,850,000 in matte Yunmo Gold, as October prices, Masrawy and Sayarat Elyoum reported on 21 October. XPENG Egypt's own GX page lists the car but does not show a price.

The GX is a range-extender: a 63.3 kWh battery drives the wheels, and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine only charges it. According to the launch reports, it gives about 430 km on electricity alone and 1,585 km in total on the Chinese CLTC test, with 496 hp, all-wheel drive and 0 to 100 km/h in 4.98 seconds. It is 5,265 mm long, with three rows in a 2+2+2 layout, air suspension, rear-wheel steering, a 17.3-inch centre screen, a 21.4-inch screen for the rear and 33 speakers.

The car can be seen at XPENG's showrooms at Building 5A on Mivida Boulevard in New Cairo, on the 26th of July Corridor in 6th of October and at Dune Mall in New Cairo, and through dealers including Motor One, B-Auto, General EV, M Auto and Abaza. XPENG Egypt's hotline is 15547. Prices in Egypt are changing often this season, so confirm the price and delivery date with the dealer before you pay; CLTC range figures are usually higher than what drivers get on the road.
