Asser Yassin and Wegz finish filming Watar Wahed
Filming has wrapped on Watar Wahed, in which Asser Yassin plays a talent manager and Wegz the singer he manages. It is due in cinemas soon, with no date yet.
Shooting has finished on Watar Wahed (One String), the film that pairs Asser Yassin with the rapper Wegz, FilFan reported on Thursday. Ali El Araby directs, and the film is produced by Ambient Light and Film Square.
Yassin plays a talent manager and Wegz the artist he looks after. Tara Emad and Mayan El Sayed are also in the cast. The opening scene was shot during a Wegz concert in New Alamein this summer, in a single day, with more scenes filmed the day after.
The makers say it will reach cinemas soon but have not given a release date.
