Amir Taz Palace in Historic Cairo hosts "Mosaic October Night" on Monday, 12 October, at 8pm, with Mosaic Band and the Orientino Duo on the bill.

Orientino Duo is Chilean-Swedish pianist and singer Tanya Naranjo and Syrian-Swedish percussionist and singer Badr Dibs. They rework well-known songs and pieces, joining Middle Eastern and Latin American traditions through rhythm, voice and improvisation.

The 14th-century palace sits on Al-Suyufiyya Street, off Al-Saliba Street in El-Khalifa, and is run as an arts centre by the Cultural Development Fund, which organises the concert. Ticket details have not been announced.
