Mai Omar shares first set photos of her Ramadan 2027 series "Halima Gebran"
The 30-episode series, written by Mohab Tarek and directed by Mohamed Bakir, also stars Bayoumi Fouad, Engy El Mokaddem, Mohamed Riad and Basant Shawky.
Mai Omar has posted behind-the-scenes photos on her Instagram stories from "Halima Gebran", the series she is making for Ramadan 2027.
The photos show members of the cast, including Mohamed Riad, Nashwa Mostafa, Ahmed Bahaa, Bayoumi Fouad, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Basant Shawky, Engy El Mokaddem, Hazem Ehab and Alaa Morsy. The series has 30 episodes, written by Mohab Tarek and directed by Mohamed Bakir.
It follows her 15-episode series "El Set Monalisa" in Ramadan 2026 and her summer 2026 film "Shamshoun w Dalila" with Ahmed El Awady.
The channel or platform that will show "Halima Gebran" has not been announced, and neither has its story. Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin in early February, so the series will join the season's crowded line-up.
