Hatem Fahmy is back after 15 years with the album Amel Alban
Singer Hatem Fahmy has released Baad Ghiabo, the first song and video from Amel Alban, his first album since 2011.
Hatem Fahmy has ended a 15-year break from albums. The singer has released Baad Ghiabo, a song with a music video, as the first track from Amel Alban, his new album. His last album came out in 2011.
The album has six songs. Besides Baad Ghiabo, the titles named so far are Leek Tari'a, Men Khaybetak, Hatlob Edeiki and Ma'oula Neseet. Fahmy co-composed Leek Tari'a himself, and the writers, composers and arrangers include Omar El Sherbiny, Ibrahim Shata and Mohamed Gharib.
Fahmy said in a television interview last month that he stepped away to spend time with his family, and that a second album will follow, without giving a date.
Baad Ghiabo is out now on the music platforms with its video. The date for the rest of the album has not been announced, so follow the singer's own pages for the full release.
