Cairo's electronic music crowd has a date for the end of the month. Geeza Records, the Cairo label and party series, is teaming up again with Sunrise, the Romanian collective behind the Sunwaves Festival, for a showcase at ZED Park on Friday 27 November. The party is called GEEZA 009: Sunrise x Geeza Records and starts at 3pm.

At the top of the bill is Raresh, one of the best-known names of the Romanian underground sound, a slow, hypnotic style of minimal and house built on long, detailed selections. He is joined by Bila, a Romanian DJ known for bold grooves and unpredictable sets. The local side of the line-up includes the selector Bahaa, a back-to-back session from two Cairo DJs, and Youla, who opens the day.

This is the second time the two have worked together. Sunrise made its Egypt debut with Geeza Records at ZED Park in November 2025, in a day-to-night party headlined by the Romanian DJ Priku with the UK producer Maks and the Egyptian DJs Zeft Funk, Saleh Amin and Awadly. Bringing Sunrise back a year later makes the collaboration something of an annual date on the city's club calendar.

It has been a busy year for Geeza, which has put more weight on Egypt's own electronic scene with a new event series, Made in Geeza, while still bringing in international guests. ZED Park in Sheikh Zayed has become one of its regular homes for large outdoor parties.

The party runs from 3pm into the night at ZED Park, Sheikh Zayed, on Friday 27 November. Tickets are sold through the link on Geeza Records' Instagram profile; ticket prices and the full set times had not been published when this story was written, so check there before you plan the evening. As a day party that starts in the afternoon, it suits anyone who wants an early start rather than a late club night.
