Egypt keeps petrol and diesel prices unchanged this quarter
The fuel pricing committee left petrol and diesel prices as they are, so 92 octane stays at EGP 22.25 a litre and diesel at EGP 20.50.
Egypt's automatic pricing committee for petroleum products decided on Thursday 15 October to keep fuel prices unchanged, Youm7 and Masrawy reported. The committee looks at the exchange rate and the price of Brent crude, and this time compared July to September 2026 with the quarter before.
Prices at the pump stay at EGP 24 a litre for 95 octane, EGP 22.25 for 92 octane, EGP 20.75 for 80 octane and EGP 20.50 for diesel. Natural gas for cars stays at EGP 13.
Drivers, taxi and ride-hailing users and anyone who pays for deliveries keep paying what they paid this week. The reports did not give a date for the committee's next review, so there is no new price to plan around yet.
