New Cairo: El Gouna's Chicha is building a branch at 5A
The Latin kitchen known for its El Gouna restaurant is fitting out its second Cairo branch at 5A in New Cairo, after O West. No opening date yet.
Chicha, the Latin kitchen that mixes Mexican, Peruvian and Nikkei cooking and made its name in El Gouna, is building a new branch at 5A in New Cairo, SceneEats reported after a first look inside. It will be the restaurant's second in Cairo, after its O West branch in 6th of October.
The menu shown includes shrimp tacos, beef and chicken tacos, lamb barbacoa, a black truffle risotto, a brisket sandwich and churros.
The branch is still under construction and no opening date or hours have been announced. Until it opens, the O West branch is the closest one for New Cairo diners.
