Shaboura is a live music performance by the musician and producer Shah at Rawabet Art Space in Downtown Cairo on Saturday 7 November at 8pm.
It is one continuous sequence of his own productions, blending techno and drum and bass with psychedelic textures and Bedouin and rural Egyptian rhythms, an attempt, in the organisers' words, to bring electronic music into dialogue with Egypt's rhythmic traditions.
Tickets cost EGP 250 on Tickets Marche and cannot be refunded. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts on time with no late entry. It is for ages 12 and over. Rawabet is at 5 Hussein Basha Al Meamari Street, off Marouf, in Qasr El Nil.
