Grand Egyptian Museum, Giza

Gala de Danza, presented by GEM Experience, is an evening of dance, music and art at the Grand Egyptian Museum on Thursday 5 November, staged with the museum and the Pyramids of Giza as its backdrop. The cast includes performers from the Royal Ballet, the Dutch National Ballet and MAGICLAB, with musicians, and more than 100 young performers from schools across Egypt will share the stage with them.

The show starts at 9 pm. Doors open at 7 pm and close at 8:45 pm, and late entry is not allowed. The dress code is formal. Tickets on TicketsMarché start at EGP 2,195 for a side seat with a restricted view and EGP 3,165 for side tier 1, with higher tiers above that.

The organisers recommend the show for ages 8 and up, and anyone under 18 must come with an adult. Because doors close 15 minutes before the start, give yourself time for the drive to the museum. The full cast and seating plan are on galadedanza.com.
