D-CAF dance piece Everynothing plays Rawabet in Downtown on 21 and 22 October
Choreographer Salma Ataya's contemporary dance piece Everynothing, three dancers in search of stillness, plays Rawabet Art Space on 21 and 22 October for EGP 200.
Everynothing, a contemporary dance piece by Palestinian choreographer Salma Ataya, comes to Rawabet Art Space in Downtown Cairo as part of the Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival (D-CAF). The festival lists performances on Wednesday 21 October, 8pm to 9pm, and on Thursday 22 October.
The piece follows dancers looking for stillness and clarity in a world that will not stop moving. It is performed by Sarah Flavelle and Martha Tribe, with lighting by Gearoid O'Hallmhurain, sound by Rory Friers and creative direction by Richard Wakely.
Tickets are EGP 200 and sold through D-CAF's page on Tickets Marche, linked from the festival's own event page. Rawabet is a small space, so book ahead rather than turning up at the door, and leave time to find parking in Downtown before an 8pm start.
