Ahmed Fahmy returns to Ramadan drama in 2027 with a 15-episode series
The Synergy production, directed by Hussein El Manbawy, is due to start filming in November.
Ahmed Fahmy is coming back to the Ramadan season in 2027 with a short drama of 15 episodes, produced by Tamer Morsy's Synergy and directed by Hussein El Manbawy. Fahmy announced the project himself on his Instagram account, with a photo alongside Morsy.
The script comes from Fahmy's writing workshop, Exi. FilFan reports the series as "Najm El Mawsem" ("Star of the Season"), while earlier reports gave a working title that had not been settled. Actress Yasmine Raees has signed on, and the rest of the cast is to be announced later.
Preparations are under way, and filming is set to begin in November 2026. The channel or platform has not been announced.
